The Swingrest!

A while back I did a blog post on The Nest Rest - which was an outdoor seat designed by Daniel Pouzet and Fred Frety with the German manufacturer called Dedon.

Daniel Pouzet has teamed up again with Dedon to create a new piece of furniture called the Swingrest! And I've got to say...I wouldn't mind having one. Based on the original design on the Nest Rest, the Swingrest is designed to provide a more open feeling and it also sits a few extra people. It also has a small Corian tabletop, which adds a place for you to lay your drinks (which I think is a nice touch!) It looks like ultimate comfort!

    for now..you should go to the manufactures site: http://www.dedon.de/en/ (dendon) and toward the bottom is a section to enter your zip to find a store near you. From what I have read this is a 2013 design and not marketed for sale to the public as of yet. I did not see it in their online catalog either. Call the store and they can assist you on arrival times and/or ordering for you. Good luck :)

    Needs a cup holder added to the Corian tabletop. I know my cup would either slip off or get knocked off.

    Would like to know what phone number to call to order one, are they individually made and therefore, it will take time to get one.....are there recommended spots to place these bc they're large and is there a weight limit....looks like on photo that it has ropes holding it, thought it might need chains....please post phone number
